Pudsey Computers maintenance contracts include regular service visits by a named technician, emergency call out and telephone support. We provide a service to dozens of Leeds schools and offer three types of contract. Flexible service contract, standard contract with two and a half or three hour fixed service visits and a pay as you go option.

Our Flexible service contract is the most popular. At the start of the contract we discuss with you the number of service visits required throughout the year to maintain your system. Visits are then scheduled and a technician nominated. Visits normally consist of three hours onsite, however our flexible contract allows for the visit to be extended or shortened as required. This ensures as far as it is possible to do so that all time spent onsite is productive and work is not delayed because the technicain has to conclude his visit after three hours.

All our technicians have a minimum of 5 years experience and are proficient in repairing and maintaining PCs and associated equipment. If PCs require a repair then the time is taken from the contract and is not be chargeable as an extra.

A tally at the end of the year will determine if the contract is over or under the time originally allocated to it and the balance would be payable or credited. For budget reasons any balance payable could be carried forward to the next financial year. Typically our flexible service contract save schools 20-30% off the price of a standard contract.

Both the Flexible service contract and a standard contract include emergency callout time and telephone support.

Some schools have experienced technical staff capable of supporting the schools network and would only have to call upon us to fix particularly difficult problems or cover in case of absence. In these cases we can provide a pay as you go support service. The hourly rate on this contract is higher than our standard rates.
